Q: What are the school day hours? A: School hours are 8:30 a.m. – 2:40 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Early Dismissal days. Check out our school year calendar to find out which days are scheduled as Early Dismissal.
Q: What are the Extended Day hours? A: Before school care begins at 7:30 a.m. for grades K-8, 7:30 for SR and PK and the Extended Day program ends at 5:30 p.m. Find out more about the St. Peter School Extended Day program.
Q: Is there busing to St. Peter School? A: Busing is provided for students who live at least one mile away from school for students in grades K-8. Busing is not available for PK students.
Q: How much is school lunch? A: School lunch is $3.00 per day and may be ordered daily or weekly. Students may also apply for free or reduced lunch.
Q: When should I expect progress reports and report cards and how do they get to me? A: Progress reports are sent home midway through each marking period. Report cards are distributed in November, January. April and on the last day of school. They are given to parents at the first Parent Conference and to the students in January, April and on the last day of school.
Q: When are Parent/Teacher conferences and what should I prepare for my conference? A: Conferences are held in November, however parents are invited and encouraged to call to schedule a conference any time they have a concern. Parents should prepare specific questions they would like to discuss.
Q: How will we know if school is canceled due to inclement weather? A: We follow the Danbury Public School System for weather related emergency early dismissals. School closings will be announced on local TV and radio stations and through our school alert system.
